Co-hosted by Billy Kelleher MEP (Fianna Fail, IE) and Veronika Ostrihonova MEP (Progresívne Slovensko, SL), the following programme is designed to go beyond awareness-raising and propose solutions.

The afternoon will begin with a panel discussion on inequalities in clinical trials, diagnostics and treatments.

We will analyse the structural failures, from under-representation in research to frequent misdiagnosis, that prevent women from accessing equitable and timely care.

After a short coffee break, we will welcome Commissioner Lahbib for a keynote address.

The conversation will then move to the second panel discussion, focusing on gender-specific health issues.

This session will highlight specific challenges that are often overlooked and identify the policy/medical advances that are essential to improving patient outcomes.

The event will conclude with a question-and-answer session and discussion with the audience, providing you with an opportunity to engage directly with the speakers and contribute your perspective to this important dialogue.
